Workplace Training FAQ

Do you provide on-site workplace training?
Yes. We provide on-site CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Wilderness First Aid training for businesses and organizations throughout Western Colorado. We bring the instructors, training equipment, and course materials directly to your location.

What is the difference between AHA and HSI certification?
We offer both American Heart Association (AHA) and HSI certification options depending on your workplace requirements. Many healthcare environments require AHA certification, while HSI is commonly accepted for general workplace and OSHA-aligned training. If you are unsure which certification your organization needs, we are happy to help guide you.

Do you travel outside Grand Junction?
Yes. We regularly provide training throughout Western Colorado and surrounding areas. Travel or mileage fees may apply depending on the training location and group size.

What does our workplace need to provide?
For most on-site classes, we ask that workplaces provide a room or training space with seating, adequate floor space for hands-on skills practice, and access to a TV, projector, or monitor if available. Wi-Fi is helpful but not always required.

How long are classes?
Class length varies depending on the course type, number of participants, and training format. Most CPR/AED & First Aid classes take approximately 4 hours, while BLS courses are typically around 3 hours. We can help recommend the best schedule for your team.

When are certification cards issued?
Digital certification cards are issued after successful course completion and once the invoice has been paid in full. Once payment has been received, eCards are typically issued within 48–72 business hours.
